Painting Courses at Silverland Studios
Silverland Studios are run by two european recognised artists;
Joe Allen & Christine Henn (www.christine-henn.com).
Our teaching approach and aim is to help you to develop a personal vision with an individual pictorial language. We will assist you to be in dialogue with art history ( especially the modern classics) and contemporary art as a support towards this aim.
Having taught painting for more than 25 years, mainly at Europe’s largest free artschool (The European Art Academy in Trier, Germany) we have a wealth of experience in teaching art and painting. We specialise in the mediums of oil and acrylics and feel comfortable in teaching both beginners and advanced, as well as semi-professionals and art students, who wish to work in a professional atmosphere.
All listed courses are run in 2 studio groups of a maximum of 5 participants each by Joe Allen and Christine Henn,( except Children’s courses, by Christine Henn only). Both studios are well equipped with easles, tables,buckets, excellent lighting, wooden floors and heating.Materials such as brushes, paints, etc. are not provided, except Children’s Courses) There is a 1 hour lunch break. You have various possibilities to eat nearby or bring your own packed lunch.Tea, coffee and biscuits are there for you all day.
Silverland Studios with its direct position on the marina of the Royal Harbour of Ramsgate is an ideal and unique place for creativity.

With your confirmed registration you have made a commitment to partake in your chosen course and agree with its terms and conditions.
Payment:
Weekend Courses, Studio Day Groups, Saturday Morning Classes and Children’s Courses can be payed at course begin or by transfer a week before the course begins. Evening classes either on the evening,i.e.see conditions at fees‘ listing.
1 week courses:
Please pay in 2 installments: a 50% deposit three weeks before course begin. The remaining fee at arrival.In the event of cancellation 2 weeks before course begin your deposit will not be refunded.
